For over ten years, I have perfected the art of leather weaving, a technique I developed as a self-taught artisan by creating specific tools. Each strip is cut and worked by hand with a level of precision comparable to wood or metal.
I select high-end leathers, notably from the Rémy Carriat Tannery in Espelette, renowned for its excellence in craftsmanship, serving the finest leather goods makers and designers.
Leather weaving adapts to many creations: armchairs, seating, wall panels, wardrobe doors, and even bookshelf facades. This technique adds a unique touch while offering natural acoustic and insulating properties.
My team and I are currently working on an innovative line of furniture, where leather weaving harmoniously blends with marquetry for a result that is both elegant and modern.
